I successfully completed SCA Sensory Skills, SCA Coffee Brewing, SCA Barista, and SCA Coffee Roasting training. At the end of these trainings, I passed 21 of the most challenging coffee exams in three days, earning me the title of Q Arabica Grader (a licensed coffee expert who can evaluate coffees).

While I was deeply interested in coffee, the training I received at the Chocolate Academy opened doors to the world of chocolate. I realized that artisan chocolate was very different and delicious from the industrial chocolate we consume. However, once I realized my talent in production, chocolate became my second passion. Because chocolate production is so demanding and requires a wealth of knowledge, I read countless books and attended training sessions with numerous Master Chefs.

That's why I founded Rumo: my desire to share the best of coffee and chocolate with you. I believe that the good things we eat and drink make our days better. My greatest joy is sharing the surprise and smile that comes from a delicious cup of coffee and chocolate.
